Garbage Collection
We usually abide by the following garbage collection schedule:

Tuesday mornings, starting at 9:00 AM: residences located east of Shallow Lake Road and local businesses

Friday mornings, starting at 9:00 AM: Shallow Lake area, residences west of Shallow Lake Road and local businesses

This schedule can and will be modified for statutory holidays and could also be affected by bad weather. In that case, garbage collection will usually occur on the next workday (or possibly later during the day if road conditions have improved).

To ensure that our employees can perform their work in an efficient, safe and healthy manner, please make sure that:

All waste is placed in plastic bags

Plastic bags are inserted in rigid plastic containers with lids

Containers are placed by the side of the road on the morning of the collection
Note: Ashes from wood-burning stoves must be cold and in their own plastic bag or other sealed container
